9 But he who lacks these things is blind, and gropes for the way with his hands, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Therefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure. For if you do such things, you shall never err. 11 Yea, and by this means a grand entering in will be given you into the ever-lasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind,(A) forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.(B)
10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters,[a] make every effort to confirm your calling(C) and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,(D) 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom(E) of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.(F)
