11 The angels are much stronger and more powerful than these beings. But even the angels don’t accuse them and say bad things about them to the Lord.
12 But these false teachers speak evil against what they don’t understand. They are like animals that do things without really thinking—like wild animals that are born to be caught and killed. And, like wild animals, they will be destroyed. 13 They have made many people suffer. So they themselves will suffer. That is their pay for what they have done.
They think it is fun to do evil where everyone can see them. They enjoy the evil things that please them. So they are like dirty spots and stains among you—they bring shame to you in the meals you eat together.

New International Version
11 yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not heap abuse on such beings when bringing judgment on them from[a] the Lord.(A) 12 But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish.(B)
13 They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight.(C) They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.[b](D)
