2 And many shall follow their lascivious doings; by reason of whom the way of the truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And in covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose sentence now from of old lingereth not, and their destruction slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not angels when they sinned, but [a]cast them down to [b]hell, and committed them to [c]pits of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

New International Version
2 Many will follow their depraved conduct(A) and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed(B) these teachers will exploit you(C) with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned,(D) but sent them to hell,[a] putting them in chains of darkness[b] to be held for judgment;(E)
