2 Peter 3:6-8
Revised Geneva Translation
6 through which water the world that then existed perished, being flooded.
7 But the heavens and earth which exist now are stored up by the same word, and reserved for fire until the Day of Condemnation, and of the destruction of ungodly men.
8 Dearly beloved, do not be ignorant of this one thing: that one day is as a thousand years with the Lord, and a thousand years as one day.

6 By these waters also the world of that time(A) was deluged and destroyed.(B) 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire,(C) being kept for the day of judgment(D) and destruction of the ungodly.
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.(E)
