The Voice
David: 14 Weren’t you afraid to strike down the Eternal One’s anointed king knowing the law would require your death?
15 So David called for one of his soldiers to come forward and kill the Amalekite soldier, which he did.
David: 16 You have only yourself to blame. Your own words convicted you when you said you had killed the Eternal’s anointed king.

14 David asked him, “Why weren’t you afraid to lift your hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed?(A)”
15 Then David called one of his men and said, “Go, strike him down!”(B) So he struck him down, and he died.(C) 16 For David had said to him, “Your blood be on your own head.(D) Your own mouth testified against you when you said, ‘I killed the Lord’s anointed.’”
