15 So the king came back to the Jordan River. The people of Judah turned out to meet him at Gilgal, and they celebrated as he crossed back over the Jordan into his kingdom.
16 Shimei (son of Gera, the Benjaminite from Bahurim), who had abused David on his way into exile, was one of those in the throngs hurrying to meet David. 17 He joined 1,000 people from Benjamin. Ziba, the servant of the house of Saul who had spoken with David on his way into exile, and his 15 sons and 20 servants who also hurried down to the Jordan before the king,

New International Version
15 Then the king returned and went as far as the Jordan.
Now the men of Judah had come to Gilgal(A) to go out and meet the king and bring him across the Jordan. 16 Shimei(B) son of Gera, the Benjamite from Bahurim, hurried down with the men of Judah to meet King David. 17 With him were a thousand Benjamites, along with Ziba,(C) the steward of Saul’s household,(D) and his fifteen sons and twenty servants. They rushed to the Jordan, where the king was.
