³⁷So on that day all the people there and all Israel knew that the king had no part^(A) in the murder of Abner son of Ner.

King James Version

³⁷For all the people and all Israel understood that day that it was not of the king to slay Abner the son of Ner.

⁹and you will have purged^(A) from yourselves the guilt of shedding innocent blood, since you have done what is right in the eyes of the Lord.

⁹So shalt thou put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the Lord.
