^12 (A)When your days are fulfilled and you ^(B)lie down with your fathers, ^(C)I will raise up one of your seed after you, who will come forth from ^[a]your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. ^13 (D)He shall build a house for My name, and ^(E)I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

¹² He shall build for Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.

^10 (A)He shall build a house for My name, and he shall be a son to Me and I will be a father to him; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’

⁶ And He said to me, ‘Your son ^(A)Solomon is the one who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be a son to Me, and I will be a father to him.

⁴ Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of Yahweh my God, setting it apart to Him as holy, ^(A)to burn fragrant incense before Him and to set out ^(B)the showbread continually, and to offer ^(C)burnt offerings morning and evening, ^(D)on sabbaths and on new moons and on the appointed feasts of Yahweh our God, this being required forever in Israel.
