2 Samuel 7:22-24 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)
22 Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God besides thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
23 And what one people in the earth is like thy people, like Israel? whose God went and redeemed them to himself, that they might be his people, and that he might make him a name, and do for [a]you great things, and terrible for [b]thy land, O Lord, even for thy people, whom thou redeemedst to thee out of Egypt, from the [c]nations, and their gods?
24 For thou hast [d]ordained to thyself thy people Israel to be thy people forever: and thou Lord art become their God.
2 Samuel 7:22-24 New International Version (NIV)
22 “How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. 23 And who is like your people Israel—the one nation on earth that God went out to redeem as a people for himself, and to make a name for himself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations and their gods from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt?[a] 24 You have established your people Israel as your very own forever, and you, Lord, have become their God.
