2 Samuel 7:22-24 New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE)

22 Therefore you are great, O Lord God; for there is no one like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears. 23 Who is like your people, like Israel? Is there another[a] nation on earth whose God went to redeem it as a people, and to make a name for himself, doing great and awesome things for them,[b] by driving out[c] before his people nations and their gods?[d] 24 And you established your people Israel for yourself to be your people forever; and you, O Lord, became their God.

22 “How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. 23 And who is like your people Israel—the one nation on earth that God went out to redeem as a people for himself, and to make a name for himself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations and their gods from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt?[a] 24 You have established your people Israel as your very own forever, and you, Lord, have become their God.
