7 David said to him, “Do not fear, for (A)I will surely show kindness to you for the sake of your father Jonathan, and (B)will restore to you all the [a]land of your [b]grandfather Saul; and (C)you shall [c]eat at my table regularly.” 8 Again he prostrated himself and said, “What is your servant, that you should regard (D)a dead dog like me?”
9 Then the king called Saul’s servant Ziba and said to him, “(E)All that belonged to Saul and to all his house I have given to your master’s [d]grandson.

7 “Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan.(A) I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table.(B)”
8 Mephibosheth(C) bowed down and said, “What is your servant, that you should notice a dead dog(D) like me?”
9 Then the king summoned Ziba, Saul’s steward, and said to him, “I have given your master’s grandson everything that belonged to Saul and his family.
