2 Thessalonians 2:3-5
International Standard Version
3 Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, for it will not come unless the rebellion[a] takes place first and the man of sin,[b] who is destined for destruction,[c] is revealed. 4 He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god and object of worship. As a result, he seats himself in the sanctuary[d] of God and himself declares that he is God.
5 Don’t you remember that I repeatedly told you about these things when I was still with you?

New International Version
3 Don’t let anyone deceive you(A) in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion(B) occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed,(C) the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God(D) or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.(E)
5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things?(F)
