Amaziah's Idolatry

¹⁴ After Amaziah came from striking down the Edomites, ^(A)he brought the gods ^(B)of the men of Seir and set them up as his gods and worshiped them, making offerings to them.

³ And Jacob sent^[a] messengers before him to Esau his brother in the land of ^(A)Seir, the country of Edom,

⁸ So Esau settled in ^(A)the hill country of Seir. (^(B)Esau is Edom.)
