³³ taking all the land of the Jordan known as the land of Gilead. (It was the region of Gad, Reuben, and Manasseh.) He took land from Aroer by the Arnon Ravine through Gilead to Bashan.

³⁴ The other things Jehu did—everything he did and all his victories—are recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Israel. ³⁵ Jehu died and was buried in Samaria, and his son Jehoahaz became king in his place.
