² Then ^(A)he defeated Moab. Forcing them down to the ground, he measured them off with a line. With two lines he measured off those to be put to death, and with one full line those to be kept alive. So the Moabites became David’s ^(B)servants, and ^(C)brought tribute.

²¹ So ^(A)Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from ^(B)the^[a] River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. ^(C)They brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.

²⁵ Each man brought his present: articles of silver and gold, garments, armor, spices, horses, and mules, at a set rate year by year.

⁵ Therefore the Lord established the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah ^(A)gave presents to Jehoshaphat, ^(B)and he had riches and honor in abundance.

¹¹ And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, ^(A)they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
