⁸ And then ^(A)the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus ^(B)will kill with ^(C)the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by ^(D)the appearance of his coming.

^25 (A)By his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind ^(B)he shall become great. ^(C)Without warning he shall destroy many. And he ^(D)shall even rise up against the Prince of princes, and he shall be broken—but ^(E)by no human hand.

³⁶ “And the king shall ^(A)do as he wills. ^(B)He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, ^(C)and shall speak astonishing things against ^(D)the God of gods. ^(E)He shall prosper ^(F)till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done.

⁵ And the beast was given ^(A)a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for ^(B)forty-two months. ⁶ It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling,^[a] that is, those who dwell in heaven.
