³⁹ And we are ^(A)witnesses of all the things He did both in the ^[a]land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They also ^(B)put Him to death by hanging Him on a tree.

²⁹ And when they had ^(A)finished all that was written concerning Him, ^(B)they took Him down from ^(C)the tree and ^(D)laid Him in a tomb.

¹³ Christ ^(A)redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “^(B)Cursed is everyone who hangs on ^(C)a ^[a]tree”—

²⁴ Who Himself ^[a](A)bore our sins in His body on the ^(B)tree, so that ^(C)having died to ^[b]sin, we might live to righteousness; ^(D)by His ^[c]wounds you were ^(E)healed.
