40 God raised Him to life on the third day and made Him to be seen. 41 Not all the people saw Him but those who were chosen to see Him. We saw Him. We ate and drank with Him after He was raised from the dead. 42 He told us to preach to the people and tell them that God gave Christ the right to be the One Who says who is guilty of the living and the dead.

New International Version
40 but God raised him from the dead(A) on the third day and caused him to be seen. 41 He was not seen by all the people,(B) but by witnesses whom God had already chosen—by us who ate(C) and drank with him after he rose from the dead. 42 He commanded us to preach to the people(D) and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead.(E)
