41 not to all the people, but to us witnesses chosen before by God, who ate and drank with him after he arose from death. 42 And he commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is he who is ordained by God to be judge of the quick and the dead. 43 To him all the prophets give witness: that through his name, all who believe in him shall receive remission of sins.

41 He was not seen by all the people,(A) but by witnesses whom God had already chosen—by us who ate(B) and drank with him after he rose from the dead. 42 He commanded us to preach to the people(C) and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead.(D) 43 All the prophets testify about him(E) that everyone(F) who believes(G) in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”(H)
