46 For they heard them speaking in other languages and declaring the greatness of[a] God.
Then Peter responded, 47 “Can anyone withhold water and prevent these people from being baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”(A) 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.(B) Then they asked him to stay for a few days.

46 For they heard them speaking in tongues[a](A) and praising God.
Then Peter said, 47 “Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water.(B) They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”(C) 48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.(D) Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.
