Acts 12:23-25

23 At once an angel from the Lord struck him down because he took the honor that belonged to God. Later, Herod was eaten by worms and died.
24 God's message kept spreading. 25 And after Barnabas and Saul had done the work they were sent to do, they went back to Jerusalem[a] with John, whose other name was Mark.

New International Version
23 Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel(A) of the Lord struck him down,(B) and he was eaten by worms and died.
24 But the word of God(C) continued to spread and flourish.(D)
Barnabas and Saul Sent Off
25 When Barnabas(E) and Saul had finished their mission,(F) they returned from[a] Jerusalem, taking with them John, also called Mark.(G)
