Acts 12:23-25
New Catholic Bible
23 Immediately, the angel of the Lord struck him down because he had not attributed the honor to God. He was eaten away by worms and died.
24 Return of Barnabas and Saul to Jerusalem.[a] Meanwhile, the word of God continued to spread and gain more followers. 25 Then, after Barnabas and Saul had completed their mission, they returned to Jerusalem, bringing with them John, also called Mark.[b]

23 Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel(A) of the Lord struck him down,(B) and he was eaten by worms and died.
24 But the word of God(C) continued to spread and flourish.(D)
Barnabas and Saul Sent Off
25 When Barnabas(E) and Saul had finished their mission,(F) they returned from[a] Jerusalem, taking with them John, also called Mark.(G)
