Acts 13:39-41
New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition

39 by this Jesus[a] everyone who believes is set free from all those sins[b] from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.(A) 40 Beware, therefore, that what the prophets said does not happen to you:(B)

41 ‘Look, you scoffers!
    Be amazed and perish,
for in your days I am doing a work,
    a work that you will never believe, even if someone tells you.’ ”

41 “‘Look, you scoffers,
    wonder and perish,
for I am going to do something in your days
    that you would never believe,
    even if someone told you.’[a]”(C)
