Barnabas and Saul on Cyprus
4 So, being sent out (A)by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus. 5 When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God (B)in the synagogues of the Jews. And they had (C)John to (D)assist them. 6 When they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they came upon a certain (E)magician, (F)a Jewish false prophet named Bar-Jesus.

4 The two of them, sent on their way by the Holy Spirit,(A) went down to Seleucia and sailed from there to Cyprus.(B) 5 When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God(C) in the Jewish synagogues.(D) John(E) was with them as their helper.
6 They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer(F) and false prophet(G) named Bar-Jesus,
