5 And when they came to Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of Jews; and they had also John in ministry [in ministry, or service].
6 And when they had walked by all the isle to Paphos, they found a man, a witch [And when they had walked by all the isle unto Paphos, they found some man witch], a false prophet, a Jew, to whom the name was Barjesus,

On Cyprus
4 The two of them, sent on their way by the Holy Spirit,(A) went down to Seleucia and sailed from there to Cyprus.(B) 5 When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God(C) in the Jewish synagogues.(D) John(E) was with them as their helper.
6 They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer(F) and false prophet(G) named Bar-Jesus,
