17 And speaking these things, they scarce restrained the people from sacrificing to them.
18 Now there came thither certain Jews from Antioch, and Iconium: and persuading the multitude, and stoning Paul, drew him out of the city, thinking him to be dead.

16 In the past, he let(A) all nations go their own way.(B) 17 Yet he has not left himself without testimony:(C) He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons;(D) he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.”(E) 18 Even with these words, they had difficulty keeping the crowd from sacrificing to them.
