Acts 17:27-29
English Standard Version
27 (A)that they should seek God, (B)and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. (C)Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, 28 for
as even some of (E)your own poets have said,
“‘For we are indeed his offspring.’[b]
29 (F)Being then God's offspring, (G)we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man.

27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.(A) 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’[a](B) As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’[b]
29 “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill.(C)

27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
