²⁸ The one who steals must no longer steal; but rather ^(A)he must labor, ^(B)producing with his own hands what is good, ^(C)so that he will have something to share with the one who has need.

¹⁰ For even ^(A)when we were with you, we used to give you this order: ^(B)if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either. ¹¹ For we hear that some among you are ^(C)leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but acting like ^(D)busybodies. ¹² Now we command and ^(E)exhort such persons in the Lord Jesus Christ to ^(F)work ^[a]peacefully and eat their own bread.
