Acts 18:24-26 The Passion Translation (TPT)

The Ministry of Apollos

24 A Jewish man by the name of Apollos arrived in Ephesus. He was a native of Alexandria[a] and was recognized as an educated and cultured man. He was powerful in the Scriptures, 25 had accepted Jesus, and had been taught about the Lord. He was spiritually passionate[b] for Jesus and a convincing teacher, although he only knew about the baptism of John. 26 He fearlessly preached[c] in the synagogue. But when Priscilla and Aquila heard Apollos’ teachings, they met with him privately[d] and revealed to him the ways of God more completely.[e]
