28 When they heard this, they were full of anger and cried out, “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!” 29 The city was filled with confusion. And in unison they seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Paul’s traveling companions from Macedonia, and rushed into the theater. 30 When Paul intended to go in among the crowd, the disciples would not let him.

New International Version
28 When they heard this, they were furious and began shouting: “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!”(A) 29 Soon the whole city was in an uproar. The people seized Gaius(B) and Aristarchus,(C) Paul’s traveling companions from Macedonia,(D) and all of them rushed into the theater together. 30 Paul wanted to appear before the crowd, but the disciples(E) would not let him.
