Acts 2:23-25

23 (A) God had already planned and decided that Jesus would be handed over to you. So you took him and had evil men put him to death on a cross. 24 (B) But God set him free from death and raised him to life. Death could not hold him in its power. 25 (C) What David said are really the words of Jesus,
“I always see the Lord
near me,
and I will not be afraid
with him at my right side.

New International Version
23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge;(A) and you, with the help of wicked men,[a] put him to death by nailing him to the cross.(B) 24 But God raised him from the dead,(C) freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.(D) 25 David said about him:
“‘I saw the Lord always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
