23 this One, given-over[a] by the determined[b] purpose[c] and foreknowledge of God, you killed, having fastened[d] Him to a cross by the hand of Lawless ones, 24 Whom God raised-up, having put-an-end-to[e] the pains[f] of death, because it was not possible that He be held-on-to by it.

23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge;(A) and you, with the help of wicked men,[a] put him to death by nailing him to the cross.(B) 24 But God raised him from the dead,(C) freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.(D) 25 David said about him:
“‘I saw the Lord always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
