Acts 2:23-25
Good News Translation
23 (A)In accordance with his own plan God had already decided that Jesus would be handed over to you; and you killed him by letting sinful men crucify him. 24 (B)But God raised him from death, setting him free from its power, because it was impossible that death should hold him prisoner. 25 (C)For David said about him,
‘I saw the Lord before me at all times;
he is near me, and I will not be troubled.

New International Version
23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge;(A) and you, with the help of wicked men,[a] put him to death by nailing him to the cross.(B) 24 But God raised him from the dead,(C) freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.(D) 25 David said about him:
“‘I saw the Lord always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
