22 “And now I am on my way to Jerusalem, compelled by the Spirit,[a] not knowing what I will encounter there,(A) 23 except that in every town the Holy Spirit warns me that chains and afflictions are waiting for me.(B) 24 But I consider my life of no value to myself; my purpose is to finish my course[b] and the ministry(C) I received from the Lord Jesus,(D) to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.

22 “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem,(A) not knowing what will happen to me there. 23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me(B) that prison and hardships are facing me.(C) 24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me;(D) my only aim is to finish the race(E) and complete the task(F) the Lord Jesus has given me(G)—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.(H)
