22 “And you see, now I am going to Jerusalem, compelled by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there, 23 except that the Holy Spirit keeps warning me in town after town that chains and afflictions are waiting for me. 24 However, I consider my life as of no great value to me, so that I may finish my race and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus—to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.

22 “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem,(A) not knowing what will happen to me there. 23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me(B) that prison and hardships are facing me.(C) 24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me;(D) my only aim is to finish the race(E) and complete the task(F) the Lord Jesus has given me(G)—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.(H)
