12 When we had heard this, we as well as the local residents began begging him (A)not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For (B)I am ready not only to be bound, but even to die at Jerusalem for (C)the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14 And since he would not be persuaded, we fell silent, remarking, “(D)The will of the Lord be done!”

12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die(A) in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”(B) 14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up(C) and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”(D)
