33 The company arrived at Caesarea and handed over the letter to the governor, presenting Paul at the same time. 34 Felix read the letter, and asked which jurisdiction Paul was from. He found out that he was from Cilicia.

35 “I will hear your case,” he said, “when your accusers arrive.”

He ordered that he be kept under guard in Herod’s Praetorium.

33 When the cavalry(A) arrived in Caesarea,(B) they delivered the letter to the governor(C) and handed Paul over to him. 34 The governor read the letter and asked what province he was from. Learning that he was from Cilicia,(D) 35 he said, “I will hear your case when your accusers(E) get here.” Then he ordered that Paul be kept under guard(F) in Herod’s palace.
