New International Version

²⁵I found he had done nothing deserving of death,^(A) but because he made his appeal to the Emperor^(B) I decided to send him to Rome.

³¹and when they had gone aside, they talked among themselves, saying, ^(A)“This man is doing nothing deserving of death or chains.”

³¹After they left the room, they began saying to one another, “This man is not doing anything that deserves death or imprisonment.”^(A)
