3 especially because you are familiar with all the (A)customs and (B)controversies of the Jews. Therefore I beg you to listen to me patiently.
4 (C)“My manner of life from my youth, spent from the beginning among (D)my own nation and in Jerusalem, is known by all the Jews. 5 They have known for a long time, if they are willing to testify, that (E)according to the strictest (F)party of our (G)religion I have lived as (H)a Pharisee.

New International Version
3 and especially so because you are well acquainted with all the Jewish customs(A) and controversies.(B) Therefore, I beg you to listen to me patiently.
4 “The Jewish people all know the way I have lived ever since I was a child,(C) from the beginning of my life in my own country, and also in Jerusalem. 5 They have known me for a long time(D) and can testify, if they are willing, that I conformed to the strictest sect(E) of our religion, living as a Pharisee.(F)
