Acts 27:11-13
New American Standard Bible 1995
11 But the centurion was more persuaded by the (A)pilot and the [a]captain of the ship than by what was being said by Paul. 12 Because the harbor was not suitable for wintering, the majority reached a decision to put out to sea from there, if somehow they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of (B)Crete, facing southwest and northwest, and spend the winter there.
13 [b]When a moderate south wind came up, supposing that they had attained their purpose, they weighed anchor and began (C)sailing along (D)Crete, close inshore.

Acts 27:11-13
New International Version
11 But the centurion, instead of listening to what Paul said, followed the advice of the pilot and of the owner of the ship. 12 Since the harbor was unsuitable to winter in, the majority decided that we should sail on, hoping to reach Phoenix and winter there. This was a harbor in Crete,(A) facing both southwest and northwest.
The Storm
13 When a gentle south wind began to blow, they saw their opportunity; so they weighed anchor and sailed along the shore of Crete.
