Acts 4:19-21

19 However, Peter and John answered them, “You be the judges about whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God. 20 We cannot possibly refrain from speaking about what we have seen and heard.”
21 After threatening them once again, they released them, for they could find no way to punish them inasmuch as the people were praising God for what had happened.

19 But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him?(A) You be the judges! 20 As for us, we cannot help speaking(B) about what we have seen and heard.”(C)
21 After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, because all the people(D) were praising God(E) for what had happened.
