13 But none of the rest dared to associate with them; however, (A)the people held them in high esteem. 14 And all the more (B)believers in the Lord, multitudes of men and women, were constantly (C)added to their number, 15 to such an extent that they even carried the sick out into the streets and laid them on cots and pallets, so that when Peter came by (D)at least his shadow might fall on any one of them.

13 No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people.(A) 14 Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number.(B) 15 As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.(C)
