²² They said, “Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous and ^(A)God-fearing man well spoken of by the entire nation of the Jews, ^(B)was divinely directed by a ^(C)holy angel to send for you to come to his house and hear ^[a](D)a message from you.”

³⁵ but ^(A)in every nation the one who ^[a](B)fears Him and ^[b]does what is right is acceptable to Him.

¹⁶ Paul stood up, and ^(A)motioning with his hand said,

“Men of Israel, and ^(B)you who fear God, listen:

²⁶ “^[a]Brothers, sons of Abraham’s family, and those among you who fear God, to us the message of ^(A)this salvation has been sent.
