⁴³ Then fear came over everyone, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles.^(A)

³ So they stayed there for some time and spoke boldly in reliance on the Lord, who testified to the message of His grace by granting that signs and wonders be performed through them.^(A)

Demonism Defeated at Ephesus

¹¹ God was performing extraordinary miracles by Paul’s hands,

¹⁹ by the power of miraculous signs and wonders,^(A) and by the power of God’s Spirit. As a result, I have fully proclaimed the good news about the Messiah from Jerusalem^(B) all the way around to Illyricum.^[a](C)

¹² The signs^(A) of an apostle^(B) were performed with great endurance among you—not only signs but also wonders^(C) and miracles.^(D)
