¹⁶ By faith in His name, His name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. So the faith that comes through Him has given him this perfect health in front of all of you.

¹⁶ know that no one is justified by the works of the law^(A) but by faith in Jesus Christ.^[a] And we have believed in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in Christ^[b] and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no human being will^[c] be justified.

²⁰ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.^(A) The life I now live in the body,^[a] I live by faith in the Son of God,^(B) who loved^(C) me^(D) and gave Himself^(E) for me.^(F)

²² But the Scripture has imprisoned everything under sin’s power,^[a](A) so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ^(B) might be given to those who believe.^(C)

¹² In Him we have boldness and confident access^(A) through faith in Him.^[a]
