¹³ “Hear, ^(A)and testify against the house of Jacob,”
    declares the Lord God, ^(B)the God of hosts,

⁸ He who made the ^(A)Pleiades and Orion,
    and turns deep darkness into the morning
    and ^(B)darkens the day into night,
who ^(C)calls for the waters of the sea
    ^(D)and pours them out on the surface of the earth,
^(E)the Lord is his name;

^6 (A)who builds his upper chambers in the heavens
    and founds his vault upon the earth;
^(B)who calls for the waters of the sea
    and pours them out upon the surface of the earth—
^(C)the Lord is his name.

¹⁶ Not like these is he who is ^(A)the portion of Jacob,
    for he is the one who formed all things,
^(B)and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance;
    ^(C)the Lord of hosts is his name.
