Amos 3:4-6
1599 Geneva Bible
4 Will a [a]lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? or will a lion’s whelp cry out of his den, if he hath taken nothing?
5 [b]Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no fowler is? or will he take up the [c]snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?
6 Or [d]shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people be not afraid? or shall there [e]be evil in a city, and the Lord hath not done it?
