If people hear the warning blast of a trumpet,
    they shake with fear.
If trouble comes to a city,

Does a trap spring up from the ground
    if it has not caught anything?
When a trumpet(B) sounds in a city,
    do not the people tremble?
When disaster(C) comes to a city,
    has not the Lord caused it?(D)

Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing
    without revealing his plan(E)
    to his servants the prophets.(F)
