Amos 5:12-14
Legacy Standard Bible

12 For I know your transgressions are many and your sins are mighty,
You who (A)distress the righteous and take bribes
And [a]turn aside the needy in the [b]gate.
13 Therefore at [c]such a time the one with insight (B)keeps silent, for it is an evil time.

14 Seek good and not evil, in order that you may live;
And thus may Yahweh God of hosts be with you,
(C)Just as you have said!

New International Version

12 For I know how many are your offenses
    and how great your sins.(A)

There are those who oppress the innocent and take bribes(B)
    and deprive the poor(C) of justice in the courts.(D)
13 Therefore the prudent keep quiet(E) in such times,
    for the times are evil.(F)

14 Seek good, not evil,
    that you may live.(G)
Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you,
    just as you say he is.
