3 [a]The (A)songs of the palace will turn to (B)wailing on that day,” declares the Lord God. “The (C)corpses will be many; in every place [b]they will throw them out. [c]Hush!”
4 Hear this, you who [d](D)trample the needy, to put an end to the humble of the land, 5 saying,
“When will the (E)new moon [e]be over,
So that we may sell grain;
And the (F)Sabbath, so that we may open the wheat market,
To make the [f]ephah smaller and the [g]shekel bigger,
And to (G)cheat with dishonest scales,
